The Team

Owner Candace Tidwell has been in the bookkeeping and accounting field since 1998. She is a long-time resident of Atascadero, and many of her more than forty clients have been with her for over ten years.

Candace received much of her training by working side-by-side with a San Luis Obispo CPA for three years and has worked with CPAs from San Luis Obispo to Paso Robles. She has conducted many Business Internal Audits, and has helped clients through audits of sales tax and payroll reporting. Inventory, financial statements, and multi-company cash flows are all part of her normal day's work. Candace serves as the full-charge bookkeeper for some clients, while for others she handles just what aspects of bookkeeping they prefer to outsource, from setting up charts of accounts to handling just payroll or payables. She is very flexible and always enjoys a challenge.

Joanne Morkowski has worked for Tidwell Bookkeeping for over ten years. She is a full-time addition to the business, performing both in-house and on-site bookkeeping services, including quarterly report filing, cash management, transaction posting, reconciliation, payroll processing, financial statement preparation, and cost analysis.

Kristy McMillin has been in the bookkeeping and accounting industry for over 10 years. She can help you manage your professional or personal finances by organizing, setting up, and maintaining any accounting function — saving you time, money and stress.

Kristy started with Tidwell Bookkeeping Services in 2003, and has pursued many avenues since then. She is knowledgable in Quickbooks, Word, and Excel. She has also helped maintain websites and has done extensive work with financing contracts and loan payments using Grapevine Software. Easy to work with and very respected in her field, Kristy is fast yet efficient in completing any task, and she always enjoys a challenge.
